Once you have homebrew installed, you can pretty much follow the instructions on mongo’s doc site using the Rosetta terminal. As the package manager for macOS, Homebrew fills the hole. Thanks to Homebrew package management, applications and utilities are simple to install and update on a Mac. Rename the new terminal to Rosetta Terminal so you don’t get confused which is which.
